The Chiang Mai Street Food App includes information on street food from 80 shops and stalls, covering 18 types of dishes that are easily available, delicious, and locally famous.
The app has an accessible design where users can easily access the information through a user-friendly interface.
The app will give clear directions and distances from the users’ location to the desired destination.
Addresses of shops and stalls are available in Thai for the users’ convenience if they choose to travel via public transport.
Designed to be downloadable for free by foreign visitors, the information provided by the app is in English.
The database may be expanded in the future (second phase of the programme).
